Jahani Biryani


Noor Jahan a strong, charismatic and a highly educated Mughal queen. She was one of the most powerful and influential women of the 17th century Mughal Empire. Noor Jahan was a beauty and epitome of delicacy despite her strong personality. Jahani Biryani is named after this beautiful and delicate queen with a great personality!

Saffron, Black Cardamom, Mace, Green Cardamoms, Cloves, Whole Peppercorns, Golden Raisins, Star Anise, Black Cumin, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Garlic, Ginger, Green Chilli, Cinnamon Stick, Bay Leaves, Mint Leaves, Cilantro, Fried Onions… it’s like reading a string of music notes, so musical!!
Chicken is cooked separately with all the flavors infused into it. Semi cooked rice is then layered twice with the chicken and cooked in an airtight pot.  The lid is sealed airtight to the pan with the dough, to keep the steam and juices in and slow cook.
