Vindaloo is a traditional ‘Goan’ dish. Goa is a former Portuguese province, in India.
Vindaloo is spicy and tangy, flavored with chilies, garlic and vinegar. It leaves your taste buds tingling for more. The translation of Vin D’Alho in Portuguese means “Wine of Garlic”. This recipe is traditionally cooked with Pork and is part of Goan Festive Meals.
It is served with rice and buns. It’s also a spicy dish which is made with the roasted spices ground into a paste with vinegar and garlic. The vegetarian Vindaloo can be made with many different combinations. We will be ‘designing’ ours with the Tofu and Eggplant.
